RHI AG wins contract worth EUR 24 million with voestalpine Donawitz

- Extension of the existing partnership for another three years
- RHI supplies approx. 23,000 tons of refractory material and permanent on-site service
The contract concluded between voestalpine Donawitz and RHI AG for the delivery of refractory material for the steel production process has been in force since 1997. When it was put out for international tender again, RHI was once again awarded the contract.
In the next three years, RHI will supply roughly 23,000 metric tons of refractory materials (bricks, mixes) for the lining of pig iron and steel casting ladles, tundishes as well as ladle slide gates, which are required for the production of approx. 4.5 million tons of crude steel at voestalpine Donawitz.
This corresponds to a contract volume of roughly EUR 24 million.

Moreover, RHI will be in charge of the installation and removal of the products in a 24-hour on-site service and of quality assurance. RHI will also supply and maintain the machines required for this purpose.
